Your payslip, decoded

Every line on a German payslip, explained in English.

What to expect

• Start with your own tax class and salary. Every payslip in the module is then yours. It's worked out in your browser and never sent or stored.
• Find each line yourself, from Bruttogehalt to Nettogehalt: Lohnsteuer, Solidaritätszuschlag, Kirchensteuer, and your Kranken-, Pflege-, Renten- and Arbeitslosenversicherung.
• Drag your salary and see what changes, and what stops changing.
• At the end, you can read your own payslip. You also know which module explains each line in depth.
